Remainder Theorem
For polynomials
If f(x) is divided by x - a, the remainder is f(a)
Example
Find the remainder when 3x3 + 7x2 + 2x + 1 is divided by x - 2
Remainder should be f(2)
= 3(2)3 + 7(2)2 + 2 x 2 + 1 =57
