eBooks: Finding the URL

In the next activity (number 4) we will look at the reference for the eBook Effective study skills: unlock your potential which is available from the University Library in both print and electronic formats.

There are a number of ways you can find out the web address (URL) for your eBook. This information may be displayed in the address bar at the top of the webpage or you may need to look for it somewhere else.

If you right click anywhere on the eBook website that you are viewing and select Properties you can find the URL. It may resemble the one shown in this example:

You should use the homepage URL of the book collection or publisher rather than the longer web address. In this example the homepage URL is http://www.dawsonera.com/.
